I recently moved into the area and I heard a lot of good things about the Sea Basin. My friend and I went there last night for dinner and it did not disappoint. We sat at the bar, and we split a plate of Citrus Tuna Tartar as as appetizer Well, let me tell you girls, it was to die for. Ohhhhhh my God Oh, and I have to say the wait staff were so.

Great food, excellent service I noticed there was no lava cake on the dessert menu and he said it would be added on this week! He’s the best. We were quite surprised by the lack of a lunch menu. We have been dining there for lunch and dinner for years. We saved this place and enjoyed its food for lunch often and dinner for special occasions.

I suppose we won’t be lunching anymore as most lunch regulars are probably not on a company credit card as we no longer are. Best of luck to Spiro and staff. I was a bit apprehensive to come due to the poor reviews, but I ended up having a great meal. This is definitely more of a Locals Spot though. Located on the ever so busy 25A The Parking Lot was Small with really tight, nearly impossible spaces. Free street parking also available.

The Restaurant itself isn’t in the greatest shape. It was outdated and downright dingy. With that being said, I did still have a great meal The Prices on the Regular Menu seem high, especially for the area.

If your interested in coming, try it during restaurant week, the Price Fixe is perfect. Each and every time my water glass was running low, someone immediately came to refill it. Our Waitress continuously came and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The ticket times weren’t crazy long which is also a plus.

Also was able to make Reservations on Opentable! The Food was very tasty and exceeded my expectations. They offer most of the same items but I thought the cook at Sea Basin did a much better job of executing the dishes. I will be reviewing what I tried: -Complimentary Garlic Bread: Delicious and was able to get a second basket A very basic but flavor dish.

The portion was definitely more than I was expecting I enjoyed this appetizer. I wasn’t sure what to expect but what I received was shrimp cooked perfectly, nicely done eggplant, baked in an outstanding garlic sauce that was still bubbling when it arrived to the table.

I would definitely get this again. Sea Basin did them right! I got this exact dish at Spiro’s and it didn’t even come close the the Sea Basins Version. The potatoes weren’t anything special but the lamb was tender and well seasoned. I would get this again.

Had a nice char on the outside, incredibly juicy in the middle. Served with the basic mashed potatoes but the gravy made it better. My advice, skip it. I thought the filling had a unique taste, not like the cannoli’s I’m normally used to but I did enjoy it. This is a dated restaurant that needs some TLC but the food didn’t fall short for me.

Tried again after 2 years. Same results. My husbands veal dish was so tough he couldnt even cut with steak knife. My scallops were spongy and disgusting.

Had to wait 10 min after my dish came out for baked potato. That was hard not cooked. Not finished yet. My son’s shrimp parm was passable he said. So disgusted.
